Traditionally law firms charge charities to write the wills they offer to their supporters for free. Believing charities should be spending their money where it is most needed rather than on solicitor fees, LEGAL365.com, which is owned and operated by Yorkshire law firm, Last Cawthra Feather (LCF) is offering third sector organisations free online Wills.

Charities interested in taking advantage of the offer, are provided with an online code that can be used by all their supporters to obtain the free service. There is also the option to have the will checked by a Lawyer at a discounted fee

The scheme has already proved very successful with local and National charities. Over 25 charties already benefit from the scheme including, Leukaemia Care, Miscarriage Association Peace Hospice, Compass Disability; with several other charities expressing an interest in using the service.

CEO of LEGAL365.com, Simon Stell reports: “Charities are at the heart of all our communities, with many people being touched by the fantastic work they do each and every day. Therefore, we felt that through LEGAL365.com we could offer a service which would benefit them and all their supporters, whilst also saving money on legal fees.”

Simon continues: “Going to a solicitor can be an intimidating process for many people, and that is one of the reasons most people haven’t written a will. But a will is very important and a necessity as it not only protects your assets, but also helps plan for supporting your family and loved ones. With LEGAL365.com making a will is simple, jargon free and quick. For charities it’s now completely free.”
