Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) February 19, 2013

The most recent ‘Property Council-ANZ Property Industry Confidence Survey’ has revealed the confidence index has increased, from 102 to 107, for the March 2013 quarter. With this in mind, property investment expert, Rick Otton, has announced an open-to-the-public Melbourne real estate investing seminar.

The ‘How To Buy A House For A Dollar’ seminar is based on the strategies Mr Otton revealed in his 2012 real estate book of the same name. Known as an investment innovator, Mr Otton’s techniques give everyday Aussies the tools to buy and sell real estate without bank involvement.

“The data from the Confidence Survey, shows that the time is right for me to hold this Melbourne seminar, which is one of a series that I’m conducting around the country,” explained Mr Otton. “Its always good to hear about buoyed consumer confidence, but caution still needs to be exercised by home buyers – after all the survey polled 3000 industry professionals – not consumers.”

The Reserve Bank of Australia decided to again hold the standard variable interest rate, which, according to Mr Otton shows that things might not be as rosy as the industry professionals might suggest.

“Those who continue to rely on traditional lenders as their pathway to home ownership will continue to exercise caution,” said Mr Otton. “The barriers to being approved for a home loan, and the ability to make repayments, still exist.”

The property investment strategies that Mr Otton brings to his seminars remove the traditional lenders from the real estate buying and selling process.

“Our system, what is regarded as ‘the norm’ is outdated, antiquated. Once everyday Australians, particularly those disenfranchised by the banks, understand that there other ways to buy and sell property, a whole new world will open up to them.”

Mr Otton describes the ‘disenfranchised’ as the self-employed (who have trouble proving stable income), those who cannot save for huge deposits (because they are paying so much in rent), and people with a poor credit record, who now have the ability to make repayments.

“But this real estate investing training is not just for home buyers, it is also for people who are trying to sell their properties for the best price in a challenging market,” said Mr Otton. “I’ll be sharing ways for them to come together with buyers who are happy to pay the right price for their homes.”

There is no charge to attend Mr Otton’s Melbourne property investment seminar, but bookings are essential, and can be made at HowToBuyAHouseForADollar.com.au.
